As a Docker,
you’ll spend a fun-filled week paddling, floating, sailing, swimming, and splashing around
our beloved Lake Kirkwood, as well as hanging around camp doing crafts, archery, nature, astronomy, and taking water-focused day hikes to the various
beautiful locations in and around camp!
Docker weeks are full of hours spent on and in the lake (morning breakfast "cruise," anyone?), working on crafts, honing boating skills, and exploring the biology of the various water bodies around camp. Some years we are even able to offer a basic water safety/lifesaving skills class to the Dockers, depending on the group size and interest level! Sometimes the Docker unit enjoys a late night lake astronomy session, and sometimes they help teach a younger unit how to paddle...anything "wet" goes for this unit!
Dockers allows girls to enjoy everything lake life has to offer.NOTE: Dockers is only offered FIRST SESSION in 2014...so register EARLY!
