Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the occupied territory of the Washoe tribe. Their history spans over 9,000 years of working with nature to preserve this beautiful place we are privileged to set foot on today. Nearby tribes that likely also contributed to the legacy of this land are Miwok, Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla. We would like to acknowledge that camp Two Sentinels is located on the traditional and ancestral territory of these tribes. We thank them for their hospitality and stewardship of this land.
