Can't volunteer as staff for a full session? We have plenty of other opportunities to get involved! You can participate as a family or by yourself. Take a morning, a day, or a weekend to make camp happen for hundreds of campers every summer!

Bus Chaperone

Work Party

Who: Adults 18+
Time Commitment: 1 day
Locations: Get on in CONCORD
​Job Description: Travel on the buses with the campers on their way to camp. Your role is to check campers in when they arrive, pass out luggage tags, ensure safety on the bus, switch DVDs, and be an ear for nervous campers. You're welcome to come into camp for a quick tour and a meal before you start your journey home.

Precamp Supervisor

Who: Adults 18+; can bring your own kids
Time Commitment: 2 days
Location: Two Sentinels Camp, Kirkwood, CA  
​Job Description: Supervise staff kids while staff complete required training hours. Activities typically include light hikes, campfires, arts and crafts, looking for bugs, doing dishes. All meals provided.

Have you ever wanted to come and visit Two Sentinels? Do you want to volunteer at camp but don't have the time? Then come to Work Party! Work Party is essential to the success of camp due to our heavy winters.
Who: Parents, campers, siblings all welcome!
Time Commitment: 1-3 days
Location: Two Sentinels Camp, Kirkwood, CA
Bonus: See camp, experience camp with your entire family, eat super yummy food!
Opening Work Party: Opens camp by cleaning up debris, setting up the dining deck, opening the unit houses, installing the waterfront, and doing small construction and fix-it jobs.
Closing Work Party: Closes camp by making sure everything is clean and well-stocked, the dining deck is taken down, the unit houses are closed, and the waterfront is in.

Backpacking Food Packer

Getting backpacking food ready for our units to go out on the trail is critical to the success of all our backpacking trips.
