Medications

At least one registered nurse is on-site and is always available to campers for first aid, the dispensing of medications, general care, and TLC. Per the American Camp Association (ACA) Standards, all medications (both prescription and over-the-counter) are stored and dispensed through our infirmary (Birdhouse).

You do not need to send any over-the-counter medications with your child as we stock a wide variety of (OTC) medications including:
  • Ibuprofen
  • Acetaminophen
  • Benadryl
  • Sudafed
  • Antacid
  • Stool Softener
  • Claritin
  • Imodium

If your camper takes prescription medications, they must be brought to camp in their original container, labeled by the pharmacy with the camper's name, address, dosage and frequency. All medications will be collected on the day your camper arrives and will be kept in the Infirmary for the week. Campers come to the infirmary to take their medications. They pick up their medications on the last day of camp.
