​In-camp unit that promotes knowledge and appreciation of nature through science and art

Wanderers
Entering 7th-10th grade
On trail: 3 days, 2 nights
Min weight: 75 lbs
Introduction to backpacking, great for campers with little-to-no backpacking experience​
All 3 sessions
Rovers
Entering 8th-11th grade
On trail: 4 days, 3 nights
​Min weight: 85 lbs
Intermediate backpacking unit for campers with some overnight backpacking experience
All 3 sessions
Fireflies
Entering 9th-12th grade
On trail: 6 days, 5 nights
​Min weight: 90 lbs
Parents must transport campers to camp 2 days early
​Requires attendance at in-town meeting in April
A backpacking-focused unit that spends almost the entire week on the trail

​In-camp unit focusing on water activities
All 3 sessions
Trekkers
Entering 10th-12th grade
On trail: 7 days, 6 nights
​Min weight: 90 lbs
2-session unit
Requires attendance at in-town meeting in April
For campers with moderate to advanced overnight backpacking experience plus plenty of in-camp time
Session 2-3 only
Pioneers
Entering 11th-12th grade
On trail: 0 days
Focus on old-time camp skills like outdoor cooking, lashing, knots, song-leading, and leadership
All 3 sessions
Superpackers
Entering 11th-12th grade
On trail: 11 days, 10 nights
Min weight: 100 lbs

The ultimate backpacking experience where campers are fully responsible for using their skills

Our counselor-in-training program that provides amazing training and leadership opportunities
Training week: Session 1 or 2

Our only co-ed unit enjoys all the regular in-camp activities while their parent volunteers as staff
