Meet the Directors
TotoToto has been coming to Two Sentinels for 21 years now, starting as a young camper herself in 2000. Toto has backpacked with many units over the years, and loves having the opportunity to help provide girls with an amazing outdoor experience. She feels extremely lucky to have a role in helping continue the camp experience for years to come, as this camp was so pivotal for her as a camper. When she is not a director at Two Sentinels, she is a 4th grade teacher and administrator in San Ramon. She is looking forward to one day bringing her newest addition, Declan, as a Tag!

RufioRufio has been coming to camp since she was a Waterbug in 1998. She has been a camper and counselor in both backpacking and in-camp units and has also been a program director. Her favorite thing about camp is singing songs and making up silly skits about biffies. She loves helping Two Sentinels be the place kids feel most themselves. Outside of camp, she manages a website content team in the hi-tech industry. She loves traveling the world--the coolest place she’s been so far is Egypt!

LittlefootHer first year at camp was as a Tag in 1987. This picture is after her first Polar Bear swim! She loves that her four kids now share the love of Two Sentinels with her. She has so many camp moments and memories that have helped shape me as a person. She's grateful for the lifelong friends she has made and is truly inspired year to year with what we can accomplish together. Backpacking, campfires and late night giggles are some of her favorite times at camp. She has been a tag, camper, unit staff, program director, nurse, and most recently a director. Camp hooks you, I promise.

Spock has been coming to camp since she was a Waterbug in 2000. She’s been a camper, OSB, cook, program director, and director and loves them all for different reasons! She feels so lucky to be able to give back to camp this way, plus it gives her an excuse to hang out with all crazy camp fam year-round. When not directing at Two Sentinels, she works in marketing for the architecture and engineering industry and loves baking all things refined sugar free and full of organic goodness. She’s also extremely nerdy (Wow, really?! Who knew!).

GalaxyGalaxy started coming to camp in 2011 with her daughter and son. She was thrilled to have the opportunity to be a counselor AND give her kids the opportunity to experience camp. Her most favorite time at camp is seeing the girls come off the trail: the look of triumph, of knowing they can do anything makes it so worthwhile. She also loves to serenade and check in with campers at meal times to find out what fun things they’ve done. She chose her camp name because she likes to stargaze and her profession is as a program manager for spacecraft.

SunflowerSunflower has been coming to camp since she was a Gypsy in 1990. She’s grateful that her mom and a friend decided to volunteer at a High Sierra Girl Scout Camp because they haven’t missed a summer since! Sunflower wants to give girls the opportunities that she was given to be a leader, backpack, try new things, and feel the sense of accomplishment after doing something challenging. She’s been a unit leader, kitchen staff, program director, and OSB leader at camp. When she’s not at camp, she’s a teacher on special assignment who works with and coaches teachers in how to effectively use technology in their classroom.

WombatWombat first came to camp as a unit leader in 2009 so her daughters could enjoy the magic of Two Sentinels Camp. She moved into the director role in 2014. Her most favorite part of camp is walking through camp in the evening to chat with campers and staff about the best part of their day. And “Director Floats.” And the food. And sleeping under the stars. When not at camp she enjoys baking, hiking, backpacking and helping patients realize their dream of having a family.
