Volunteers make camp run. Volunteering as a counselor at Two Sentinels is one great way to contribute to camp, but there are also many other opportunities to get involved! You can participate as a family or by yourself. Take a morning, a day, or a weekend to make camp happen for hundreds of girls every summer! Keep an eye on the calendar for more opportunities.

Work Party!
Time Commitment: 1-3 days
Location: Camp! Days Needed: July 6-8 // August 11-12 Bonus: See camp! Experience camp with your entire family! Eat super-yummy food! Have you ever wanted to come and visit Two Sentinels? Do you want to volunteer at camp but don't have the time? Then come to WORK PARTY! Work Party is essential to the success of camp. Opening Work Party opens camp by cleaning up debris, setting up the dining deck, opening the unit houses, installing the waterfront, and doing small construction and fix-it jobs. Closing Work Party closes camp by making sure everything is clean and well-stocked, the dining deck is taken down, the unit houses are closed, and the waterfront is in. We are always in need of help as winter snows make it imperative to shut down camp every fall and open it up again every summer. Parents, campers, and siblings are all welcome! | Bus Hostess
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours (usually either 7-9 am or 2-4 pm)
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours (usually either 7-9 am or 2-4 pm) Locations: Concord, Pleasanton Days Needed: (SUN) July 15 // July 22 (WED) July 25 // Aug 1 (SAT) Aug 4 // Aug 11 Bonus: Send off all the campers or greet them all when they get home! Meet the buses and campers before they leave at either Concord or Pleasanton. Check campers in, collect bus passes, and wave good-bye when they role away! A simple but absolutely critical job, Bus Hostess is a great help to the camp. Needed for Concord AND Pleasanton on the first and last day of EACH SESSION (12 total). Bus Mom (or Dad!)

Locations: Concord, Pleasanton Days Needed: (SUN) July 15 , (WED) July 25, (SAT) Aug 4 Bonus: Get a scenic ride through the Sierras, a tour of camp, and one of our famous meals! Travel on the buses with the campers on their way to camp. Your role is to maintain order on the bus, switch videos, and pass out bags to anyone who might unfortunately get sick. Stay for a quick tour of camp and a meal. Bus Moms must have made arrangements for their return transportation. Needed for both buses EACH SESSION (6 total). |
