Water Shoes

We use water shoes in camp for water activities and showering. On the trail, they're used for water activities and giving your feet a rest after a long day of hiking. Because we're often wearing these on uneven ground where there's sticks, roots, logs, and rocks; or in water where there's gravel and sand, it's important to have safe water shoes that completely cover the foot with no gaps to avoid trip hazards.

They're also great for quick slip-ons when you have to go biff at night!

Where to Buy
You can buy camp appropriate water shoes for cheap at Target and Walmart.

Requirements
  • Closed-toe
  • Fully enclosed, no gaps
  • Meant for water; wearing old tennis shoes in the water don't dry out fast enough for the amount of water activity we do
Examples
YES: "Water socks" OR closed-toe and gap-free water shoes
